6 Reasons to Cruise with Royal Caribbean.
Cruises are the hottest way to travel nowadays. And, contrary to what you might believe, cruising is not only reserved for old couples looking for new ways to spend their retirement money. I’ve been on a handful of cruises now and they continue to blow me away! I mean, they’re basically cities on water at this point - at least Royal Caribbeans’s ships feel this way.
Jokes aside, going on a cruise is an excellent way to make the most out of your vacation. Look at it this way, with a single booking, you’re taking care of your accommodation, food, and entertainment for the remainder of your journey. You don’t have to think about finding the most suitable hotel or worry about pinpointing the best food joints in your neighborhood. A cruise is a sweet deal, and most people, myself included, just love the value it can provide!
So, if you like to be pampered on your vacation or you’re simply looking for new ways to explore the world, here are six reasons to cruise with Royal Caribbean.
1. Variety of Destinations.
With more than 300 destinations to choose from, the opportunities with the Royal Caribbean are endless! A tropical vacation around the Bahamas? The historical beauty of European coastal towns? The undisturbed Alaskan wilderness? It’s your choice. I recently cruised to The Bahamas and already have my eye on trips to Greece, Thailand and Australia. There are just so many options to choose from.
2. World-Class Ships with endless entertainment.
Royal Caribbean offers eight classes of ships, all custom-designed for different holiday types. These ships offer countless entertainment venues like a surf simulator, water slides, rock climbing, and your own personal Central Park. From live entertainment, Tony Award-winning shows, aqua theater and ice-skating shows (the drones that kicked off the show I went to were out of this world!) to bionic bars, casinos, and escape rooms, Royal Caribbean cruises offer a fine assortment of activities for people of all ages and interests. You better get your vibe on, ‘cause the fun never stops!
3. Culinary Heaven.
Let’s face it - good food is half of the vacation (really that number is closer to 80% for me, if we’re being really honest). Fortunately, Royal Caribbean goes above and beyond to fire up your taste buds. Want to wine and dine at a great steakhouse? Or maybe you’re like me and basically start drooling anytime someone mentions Italian or Japanese cuisine? Whatever your heart desires, Royal Caribbean will deliver (quite literally too, because room service is very much a thing!) And rest assured, your morning vanilla latte awaits you at your local sea Starbucks!
My absolute favorite from my cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas was celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s specialty restaurant, Jamie’s Italian. The pasta was fresh and authentic (the tagliatelle bolognese is what dreams are made of), the garlic bread was mouth-watering and perfect for mopping up pasta sauce, and the cured meat plank is just absolute perfection. This meal alone would have made my cruise worth while. Yes, I’m serious. Yes, you need to try Jamie’s Italian. Your girl does not play when it comes to talking about food.
4. Amazing Deals.
One of the best things about cruising is how affordable it can be. Once you do the math and realize how much you actually spend on your usual vacations, it’s pretty easy to see that booking an all-inclusive cruise like my recent one with Royal Caribbean is very much within your budget. Not to mention that some last-minute deals go up to 70% off, so you can travel like royalty without actually breaking the bank.
5. Top-Notch Service.
Royal Caribbean is well-known for its award-winning service staff that goes to great lengths to deliver first-class assistance to all of its guests. It comes at no surprise that they’ve won the Best Sales & Service award for 11 consecutive years. Let’s just say that even one afternoon on the ship will show you that there are definitely many reasons that Royal Caribbean has been named the Best Cruise Line 17 times in a row.
6. THE PRIVATE ISLANDS ESPECIALLY PERFECT DAY AT COCOCAY.
This is by far my top reason to book a cruise with Royal Caribbean! Who needs to desperately go on a vacation? Who needs to go to a private island with white sand beaches, 13 jaw-dropping water slides including the tallest one in North America (terrifying and so much fun, btw!), and the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean? If your insides are screaming, “Me, me me!” you need to book a cruise immediately so you can visit Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
As if all of the above wasn’t enough of an incentive, Royal Caribbean just opened Coco Beach Club, the new and highly-anticipated exclusive beachside retreat at Perfect Day at Cococay. Think a beautiful oceanfront 2,600-square-foot infinity pool, the first floating cabanas in The Bahamas, a private beach with endless ocean views and more. Coco Beach Club is the real deal when it comes to experiencing authentic Caribbean vibes. The Bora Bora-style floating cabanas featuring floating hammocks, private freshwater showers, a mini-bar, hand-delivered filet and lobster, and water slides amongst many other surprises that will leave you feeling special.
