Weekly Weakness: Stitch Fix.
Have you heard the news? Stitch Fix officially expanded yesterday and has added 100+ premium brands like Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff, Equipment and Theory to their inventory in addition to the great brands they already carry. Say hello to the perfect way to get that one investment piece you'll cherish forever! Stitch Fix has been my partner in personal style for quite some time now and I could not be more excited for the service to feature more elevated pieces.
What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is an online styling service that has always revolved around expert styling that's personalized to you with a hand-selected choice of items from a professionally trained stylist. From the fit and quality of fabrics, down to the detailing, each piece has been thoughtfully chosen from a wide selection of over 250 brands. You'll always find a great mix of more established brands and up-and-coming ones that you may not have heard about before. This service is a great way to shake things up in your wardrobe.
How do I sign up for Stitch Fix?
Signing up for the service is as simple as filling out your Style Profile with your tastes, needs and budget. This takes about 10 to 15 minutes. From there, a personal stylist will mail a box with five items of clothing, shoes and accessories directly to your door. Once you've taken a look at everything, you keep what you love and send the rest back in a prepaid USPS envelope.
Why should I try Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix allows you to try on everything in the comfort of your own home and see how each piece works with what's already in your closet. How many times have you loved something in the store, brought it home and then realized that it didn't work with anything in your closet? It's definitely happened to me more times than I'd like to admit. One of the amazing things about Stitch Fix is that returns are easy and shipping is always free. You simply slip the items you want to return into the prepaid mailing envelope that Stitch Fix includes with every box and drop it into any USPS mailbox. It's so much simpler than digging through five purses for a receipt and having to fight off three women with small dogs to return something in person.
I used to love going shopping when I lived in California, but it's a whole 'nother story living in New York. It's so much easier to have a personal stylist do the shopping for you. Stitch Fix makes shopping easy and convenient! I mean, what's not to like about that?
Here are just a few brands that Stitch Fix introduced to their service yesterday:
Get ready to splurge on the trend you've been coveting all season long. Stitch Fix is definitely calling your name this fall (and winter and spring and summer).
